About Me
Hello! I’m Danny, a British English tutor with nearly 6 years of experience teaching English and an academic background in Psychology & Counselling.
I help people to speak more naturally and confidently by creating a relaxed, engaging, and meaningful learning environment. Whether you’re looking to build confidence, expand your vocabulary, or improve your professional communication, I tailor my lessons to meet your unique needs.
I believe that learning is most effective when you feel comfortable and involved. My approach centres around clear communication and critical thinking, offering a balanced focus on both language skills and practical workplace strategies.
I help many students in the following ways:

• Reducing stress and speaking anxiety
• Preparing impactful answers for job interviews
• Developing Confidence & Fluency
• Writing CVs and cover letters
• Moving to English-speaking countries and adjusting to new cultural environments
• Passing exams (IELTS, Cambridge, etc.)
• Improving pronunciation and natural rhythm of speech
• Building vocabulary for specific fields (e.g., business, psychology, tech)
• Learning how to communicate more clearly, persuasively, and naturally
• Developing small talk skills
• Presenting ideas effectively in meetings, and presentations

• Critical thinking and formulating opinions in English
• Navigating complex social or professional interactions
In our first session, we’ll explore how you use English in your life, the challenges you face, and the specific skills you want to refine. This session is more than just an assessment; it’s a strategic conversation about your goals and how we can tailor your learning plan.
After the lesson I'll send you a message with detailed feedback about your English and the next steps. I do create my own resources and lessons, but you are the priority for the learning plan that we create.
• Tailored Resources and a Unique Curriculum: Lessons includes targeted vocabulary, grammar, and conversation topics, with a critical thinking challenge to make learning engaging and interactive.
• Psychology-informed Approach: Drawing from my psychology and counselling background, I create a calm space where you can practise, reflect, and improve without pressure.
• Corrections & Feedback: Throughout the lessons I'll provide corrections and explanations for any mistakes. After the lessons too, I'll also send more detailed feedback and keep all of your notes updated for us to review your progress.
