World on a Scale
The world is noisy.
Opinions are loud, fast, and often reduced to simple choices: good or bad, right or wrong, for or against. Social media rewards certainty, outrage, and speed, even when reality is complex.
World on a Scale exists to slow that down.
It’s a space for questions that don’t have easy answers, and for opinions that sit somewhere in the middle. Instead of choosing sides, you’re invited to place your view on a scale and think about why it belongs there.
The goal isn’t agreement.
It’s clarity, nuance, and better thinking.
How the scale works
Each question is answered on a scale from –50 to +50.
- –50 means strongly negative
You believe this clearly makes the world worse. - 0 means neutral or unsure
You’re undecided, conflicted, or think it has no clear impact. - +50 means strongly positive
You believe this clearly makes the world better.
You choose the number that best represents your current view.
There are no correct answers.
Voting is anonymous.
Changing your mind later is allowed.
The scale isn’t about precision. It’s about direction, degree, and reflection.
